Computational Genomics for Young Researchers
Intensive hands-on training in computational genomics tools โ designed to equip the next generation of researchers with cutting-edge skills in sequence analysis, genome assembly, and bioinformatics pipelines.
Note: The workshop is limited to 20 students. Registration is free and open until 10 June 2026.
This 9-day intensive workshop brings together leading computational biologists from premier institutions across India and internationally to deliver hands-on sessions in modern genomics tools and workflows.
Participants will work through real-world datasets covering genome assembly, annotation, variant calling, comparative genomics, and metagenomics โ guided by experts at the frontier of the field.
Hosted at IISER Pune, the workshop is would be relevant to new PhD students. Others, such as Master's students and post-docs, could also apply and would be accommodated subject to vacancy.
Exciting talks from leaders in genomics and computational biology
This is the schesule of the workshop.
